What Sets Ironaxe
Apart In The Field
Four capabilities define how Ironaxe systems perform
once deployed: stable control through the hardest part
of tiltwing flight, non-destructive interception, and a
fundamentally lower cost per engagement.
Stable Control Through The Stall Region
Tiltwing architectures are historically among the most challenging aircraft to control because wings naturally stall at intermediate transition angles. Ironaxe’s proprietary flight-control software manages the aircraft stably throughout the stall region, allowing the drone to maneuver, climb, and descend at any wing angle like a multicopter, while achieving forward speeds exceeding 100 mph for Moirai and 230 mph for Slayer.

“Catch, Don’t Destroy” Non-Kinetic Interception
Instead of launching expensive missiles or using explosive kinetic warheads that create falling debris, Ironaxe uses non-destructive effectors.

V-LOOM
A deployment mechanism that drags a silk-string net to physically capture incoming targets, optionally equipped with a parachute to lower the neutralized drone safely to the ground.

Swarm Strips
Clouds of biodegradable, safe (edible) effectors that entangle target propellers on contact, instantly disabling the drone.

Swarm Seeds
Clouds of biodegradable, maple-seed-inspired effectors that descend in a slow, coordinated way, trailing silk lines to entangle propellers and bring drones down.

A Sustainable Cost Per Engagement
Interceptor missiles can cost from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands, even millions, of dollars per strike to neutralize low-cost attack drones. Ironaxe’s reusable interceptors drastically lower the cost per engagement, providing a sustainably low-cost economic countermeasure against high-volume swarm attacks.
When All Else Fails, Go Kinetic
When non-kinetic interception is not the right option, both Moirai and Slayer can be used as direct kinetic interceptors. Moirai’s tiltwing agility and Slayer’s long-range speed enable them to engage Shahed/Geran threats before they reach defended areas. Because Ironaxe platforms are designed for low-cost deployment, even a last-resort collision can remain cost-effective against an incoming attack drone.
